Shanxi Energy Transformation Forum

As a major province of energy, Shanxi shoulders the national mission of becoming comprehensive reform pilot area of national resource-based economic transformation and comprehensive reform pilot province of energy revolution. Since 2012, ECP has been actively involved in supporting the development of clean energy in Shanxi Province. It has organized its member companies to attend and hold forums and seminars related to clean coal, energy investment and distributed energy. In recent years, Shanxi, as the leader of energy revolution and transformation, adheres to the direction of green and low-carbon transformation. It is driven by reform and innovation, and organizes Energy Forum every year. ECP and its member companies are invited by the National Energy Administration and Shanxi Provincial Energy Bureau every year to participate in the discussions of energy construction and development in Shanxi together with famous energy enterprises and institutions around the world.

On the morning November 27, 2020, Shanxi Provincial Energy Bureau organized 2020 Shanxi key energy projects cooperation intention meeting to further promote the connection between energy enterprises and local projects in Shanxi Province. More than 60 people, including competent energy departments, energy enterprises and institutions at all levels, were invited. Negotiations on investment promotion and investment cooperation of key energy projects were held, aiming at jointly boosting the energy transformation and high-quality development in Shanxi. ECP attended the closed meeting with representatives from Baker Hughes, China Australia coalbed methane and joy global, and introduced the existing projects of each company in Shanxi and the business intention planned to be carried out in Shanxi.

On the afternoon of November 27, ECP and its member companies attended the "2020 energy transformation forum and the 10th global top 500 new energy enterprises summit". With the theme of "transformation and development, sharing and cooperation", the summit focused on policy, trend, market, technology and other fields, and explored the path of energy transformation and new energy development from various aspects and angles. It contributed  to building a large platform of communication and cooperation for the government, enterprises and industries. Baker Hughes (China) Oilfield Technology Service Co., Ltd. won the award of "top 50 scientific and technological innovation enterprises" issued by the summit.
