EPC Workshop

On May 19, ECP and the US Department of Energy China Office jointly organized a workshop on Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) to engage in dialogue and exchanges on US companies participating in renewable energy cooperation and green financing. US Energy Department Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Office, ECP members including Bright Source, the United States Green Fund, Eaton, General Electric and other representatives participated in the meeting.

Robert Sandoli, Director of International Projects at the Department of Energy, first exchanged views on US energy policy and expressed support for US companies to work and develop in China. Speaking of renewable energy projects, representatives of the US side expressed the hope that the US government can further support, in order to better participate in China along the way to get more opportunities for development. Bright Source and Eaton described their respective pilot projects. In the second session, Dr. Bai Po, CEO of U.S.-China Green Fund, described the purpose and objectives of the US-China Green Fund and expressed the desire to cooperate with US companies and energy department in the hope of helping US companies China to further expand its business areas and created more jobs and export opportunities for the United States.
