The 2nd US-China Energy Conservation Forum

Supported by Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), Commercial Service of U.S. Embassy (FCS), hosted by China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery & Electronic Products (CCCME), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Jiangsu Sub-council (CCPIT-Jiangsu) , U.S.-China Energy Cooperation Program (ECP) and Kunshan Municipal Government, 2nd U.S.-China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Cooperation Forum – 2016 U.S.-China Business Match-Making Conference held successfully in the afternoon of May 19, 2016 in Kunshan Huaqiao International Expo Center.

At the beginning of the conference, Mr. Jiang Hua, Vice Director Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province made an opening speech. After that，Mr. Liu Chun, Vice President China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery & Electronic Products (CCCME)、Mr. Jay Biggs, Commercial Officer Commercial Service of U.S. Embassy as well as Mr. Liu Xiaoyu, Executive Director U.S.-China Energy Cooperation Program (ECP) made the speech separately..

After the guests finished delivering the speech, Mr. Liu Wenqing, the academician from  Chinese Academy of Engineering delivered a speech on “On-site Environmental Monitoring Technology Situation”. Then there are Chinese and foreign enterprises, including ECP membership companies, discussed topics on such as “Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Situation in China”  “GE-Urban Low-carbon and Clean Solutions”. After a short rest, representatives from memberships of ECP companies, Chinese enterprises and scientific research institutions delivered speeches on such as “DOW VOC Removal Product Introduction”、“Environmental Air Solution”.

The Meeting came to an end at six o’clock in the evening. The meeting made a significant breakthrough in energy cooperation area from enterprises between the United States and China, it also made the degree of sharing between Chinese and American enterprises in science and technology closer. ECP adhering to the purpose of building a bridge between enterprises in the United States and China，will continue to work for the Sino US energy cooperation, promote the application level of clean and environmentally friendly energy, then protect the world ecological environment.
